Jim McClain is a middle school math teacher with 27 years experience whose first comic book work, along with his niece Rose McClain, is The Solution Squad.  The Solution Squad is a self-published comic about a team of teen heroes whose powers and abilities are based on math concepts.  Jim is also a mathematics consultant for the non-profit organization, Reading with Pictures.  He designed and co-edited the graphic textbook teacher guide.

Jim is also the winner of the 2014 Lilly Endowment Teacher Creativity Fellowship and looks forward to sharing his experience with you at the show.
